Little Piggy went Weeeeeeeeeee

I love making these little pigs, I made one on accident and there's no turning back.

I created this pattern, It's ok if you use it for free gifts, but if you're going to sell something from my pattern, please at least give me some sort of credit. it's only fair.

So here's what you need:

ball of yarn, I use red heart for these, that way they're easily washed
H hook, this is my favorite hook!
Safety eyes (if you like to stitch eyes on, go right for it
yarn needle
scissors
Stuffing
imagination

This is worked in the round, i don't use stitch markers, I slip extra yarn in the mix to pull out later, or dangle earrings.

Body:
1.Chain 3, 6sc in 2nd stitch from hook, (6st)

2. 2sc in each (12st)

3. 1sc, 2sc in the next, repeat to end (18st)

4. Sc in next two, 2sc in one, repeat until the end (24st)

5. Sc in next 3, 2sc in one, repeat until the end (30 st)

6. Sc in next 4, 2sc in one, repeat until the end (36 st)

7-15. place stitch marker or slip yarn into the first loop. Sc around. (36 st)

16. SC in next 4 st, sc2tog (single crochet 2 together), repeat in the round, (30)

17. Sc in next 3st, sc2tog, repeat (24st)

add eyes where you like, Stuff with your choice of stuffing.

18, Sc in next 2st,  sc2tog,  repeat, (18 st)

19. Sc in one, sc2tog, repeat (12 st)

20. sc2tog round, (6 st)

Cut tail long enough to tie off and tuck into the piggy.

Tail:

Chain 10.

2Sc in 2nd chain from hook, 2sc in each stitch until the end.

Tie to the part you just closed up on the body!


Ears:

Chain 6

sc in 2nd st from hook, 1 dc in next st, 1treble crochet in next 2 stitches, in last stitch 1 dc and 1 sc. Should be a crescent shape. tie to head where you feel ears look good, I sometime space them apart a little more than normal to make it goofy looking or if I want to add a bow or hat.


Snout:

Chain3 6sc in 2nd stitch from hook.

2sc in each around (12 stitches)

Sc around, for 2-4 rows pending your preference on snouts. (12sc)

Stuff and sew to face, below the eyes.
